Florida rapper Spaceghostpurrp channels swag from all over this planet we call Earth. It’s easy to compare Spaceghostpurrp to Odd Future, as the comparison can seemingly be drawn by any music journalist if a rapper strays slightly from the Kanye West/Jay-Z aesthetic. I think of Lil B or Green Ova (MondreM.A.N., Squadda B) but with beats that are so distant from anyone else that NASA couldn’t be more aptly named. Though I might just be writing affectionately because some of the beats sample 3D Space Cadet Pinball.
